1/9/2012  -  Snirt Racing missed the first two rounds of the ISOC National / AMSOIL Championship Snocross series due to multiple illness’s, and only half the team was able to make it to round #3 in Shakopee MN at Canterbury Park. But Noah Willbrandt #523 started his season off with a bang. He finished 3rd in heat #1, 1st in heat #2, and a very respectable 5th place finish in the final. Noah’s CMP tuned sled got him the hole shot each race and gave him #3 gate pick in the front row for the final. Noah rolled of the line a good sled ahead of the others and managed to hold on to the lead thru the first turn and rhythm section.  A good performance for not being on the sled in a year. All in all it was a great weekend of racing, beautiful weather, awesome track, and one of our favorite venue’s.  Great Big Thanks to Chad Morehouse at CMP racing for all the hard work and track support, Matt at SSI photography for the awesome photo’s, and the rest of our sponsors that helped us have a successful first race of the season.  Next stop on the National circuit is the Vision Kia Eastern National at the Finger lake Casino in Farmington NY February 3rd and 4th.

12/12/2011  -  Snirt Racing is so proud to present Noah Willbrandt #523 and his 2011 AMA D-14 State Champion and Yamaha Fall Progressive Series Champion #1 plates. What a great rookie season for Noah on the KTM 65. Big changes for next season as Noah will again be a rookie (moving up to the 85cc class) and will be riding the new Yamaha YZ85.  Great Big shout out to all our sponsors that helped make this happen; Klim, AMSOIL, EVS, Leatt, MCR, SSI, RPM, CMP, KTM, Garlet’s Corner Restaurant, PDQ Signs, StudBoy, SpeedWerx, PowerMadd, TekVest, Sled-X.com.

8/15/2011 – Snirt Racing lost another good friend in a tragic accident this past Friday. Nate Blaylock of KLIM, was Noah and Snirt Racings first major sponsor back in 2008. At only 6 years old, Noah was tearing up the mini SnoX circuit and Nate stepped up to support him and his dreams. Nate and the entire KLIM family took to Noah right away, and treated him like one of the big pro’s. In November of 2010, Nate asked Noah to participate in the Annual Snow Show KLIM booth to represent the future of KLIM, and autograph personalized posters along with two Pro riders from the ISOC SnoX and USCC Cross Country racing circuits. We will never forget Nate’s passion for the sport of snowmobiling and life in general. Godspeed Nathan, you will be truly missed.

A message from the employees of KLIM.

On Friday August 12th, 2011, the motor sports community suffered a tragic loss with the passing of Nathan Blaylock, KLIM’s Snowmobile Promotions, Events and Sponsorship Manager, from injuries suffered in a vehicle accident.

The entire KLIM family feels it’s important to share the news of Nate’s passing with the industry he was so passionately committed to. We feel honored to have worked with Nate, to have become his friend and to have had such a man of his caliber as a member of our family.

Everyone at KLIM would like to express our sincerest condolences to all of those who had the opportunity to work with and/or meet Nate. As you likely know, Nate was fearless in his dedication. His refusal to conceive a project as impossible, no matter how ambitious, led KLIM to some of its most-rewarding partnerships with both grassroots and global motor sports organizations.

KLIM, numerous land-use conservation, access activist and riding advocacy groups representing all sports and seasons, have all directly benefitted from Nate’s pure creativity and simple hard work.

But above all business, network and ingenuity, Nate was true family. And his contributions to making our world a better place to live and ride in are immense.

Please keep Nate, his wife Holly and their four children in your thoughts and prayers through this tragic time.

3/20/11 – On Sunday Mother Nature didn’t want to cooperate at all, dumping rain on the track from start to finish. Noah agreed to raced fellow team mate Nicholas Horstman’s 120 Champ sled for the day as Nicholas was unable to attend the Grand Finale. The sled wasn’t tuned quite right in the first heat and Noah struggled to get a 6th place finish. After some minor adjustments for heat #2, Noah finished a solid 3rd.  In the final, Noah was running a respectable 5th place when he was T-boned in a corner trying to pass for 4th place on the second to last lap. Track Medics were called to the scene for the other rider and by the time they got Noah going again he ended up 14th out of 15. We had hoped for a better finish for our team mates sled, but had a great time trashing it anyway J  Season over – time to get out the dirtbikes. But we can’t wait for next season with AMSOIL / ISOC.

3/19/11 – Lake Geneva, Wisconsin  ISOC Grand Finale. Saturday proved to be the best day of the entire weekend with temps near 60 and the sun shining. Noah rocked his #523 300 Freestyle to a 2nd, and 3rd place finish in his heat races pushing past the LCQ and directly into the main. Ripping off the starting line and into the first corner Noah again was caught up in the fight for the lead, and ended up back in 8th place after getting going again. He pushed hard passing a few riders to finish a 5th overall. We were so proud of his 5th place finish in his first year at the National level and in the 300 class. Awesome end to a great season for Noah in the Transition 300 class. Great job by the other Michigan racers Brendon Gouin with a 2nd, 7th, 4th in LCQ, and 8th in the final, and Cora Hauger with a 3rd, 5th, 3rd in LCQ, and 6th in the final. Michigan talent represented well at National.

3/18/11  Lake Geneva, Wisconsin was the place for the ISOC Grand Finale. Snirt Racing’s Noah Willbrandt #523 was the only team rider to make the big event. For the Friday night affiliate showdown, Noah raced his 300 Freestyle to a 4th place qualifier giving him a front row start for the final. In the hole shot of the final Noah got caught up with 4 other riders in the corner and ended up upside down. By the time the track crew got the 4 other sleds going and got Noah upright and started again he was in last place about to be lapped. He kicked it in gear and passed back to finish 12th out of the 14. A tough start to the weekend with a whole lot more racing to come.

2/12/11 The Pontiac Silverdome was the site for the ISOC AMSOIL Traxxas Michigan National. That’s right, snocross racing inside. This hadn’t been done since 2004. Bruce Jesionowski #283 had a 7th and a 4th place finish in his heat races forcing him into the LCQ were he was black flagged halfway thru the race due to the side panel falling off on the clutch side of the sled (safety issue). Bruce was very disappointed he didn’t make the main event. Team rider Nicholas Horstman #318 finished 6th and 6th for a 6th overall for the day. Noah Willbrandt #523 qualified 4th for the main were he finished 4th again in the final. Snirt Racing was very excited to race in the dome in front of our hometown crowd and we look forward to hopefully doing it again next season. Thanks to all our friends and family that came out to watch us race. Check out or video page to see a little of Noah’s final in the dome.

2/7/11 – What a great venue for the ISOC Eastern Nationals in Farmington New York. The track was the best we have been on all year. Noah qualified 2nd in his “seeding session” and looked really good with only a ½ second difference behind the 1st place racer. In the Main, Noah came out of the holeshot in 3rd place. On the last corner of the first lap, trying to pass for 2nd place, Noah had a get-off and rolled the sled on its side. The flagman let the entire pack go by before helping Noah flip the sled back over. He finished 10th out of the pack of 12. Our next stop will be indoors in our home town for the Traxxas Nationals at the Pontiac Silverdome on Feb 12th. Come out of this cold spell and watch all the pro action from stadium seating indoors.

1/29/11 – Back in Gaylord this past weekend for Rnd #2 of the MSXRA series, and #523 Noah Willbrandt swept the day with a win in all 3 races for his second 1st place overall finish of the series. Bruce #283 received a 5th, 8th, & 4th for a 5th place overall in Sport 600 A, and a 7th, 5th, & 3rd for another 5th place overall in Sport 600 Open. Next up for the Snirt team is the ISOC Eastern Nationals in Farmington New York on Feb 5th.

1/24/11 – The Snirt crew was back in Copemish, MI for Rnd #2 of the ISOC Michigan Regional series. The track was extended a little but conditions were still very “snirty“. Noah #523 started the Saturday action off with a 2nd, 1st, & 1st in his heat races. He was in the lead for most of the final when, with 2 laps to go, was T-boned in a corner and knocked off the track. He ended up with a 4th for the day. Bruce #283 struggled to stay on the seat, having multiple get-offs each heat. Sunday Noah was consistent with a 3rd, 3rd, 3rd, and 3rd place finish in the final. Bruce again was having trouble staying on the sled.  Rnd #2 of the MSXRA series is back at Gaylord MI, next week.

1/17/2011 – Good weather and a great track provided some awesome racing for the Snirt crew at round #1 of the MSXRA series in Gaylord MI this past Saturday.  Noah Willbrandt #523 received a 2nd, 2nd, and 1st for his first ever 1st place overall finish in the Junior Freestyle (8-12) 300 class. Way to go Noah, with more to come we are sure. He also won the Junior B 120 stock class riding #907 Arthur Nadolny’s sled for Team Cass Lake (Arthur was a little under the weather). Thanks to the Nadolny’s for letting Noah race Arthur’s fast 120. # 283 Bruce Jesionowski raced two class which proved to be a challenge. Each of his heats were 3 races apart so there wasn’t much time in between to catch his breath. In the Sport 600 A class, Bruce got a 7th, 4th, and 6th for a 6th overall. In the Sport A/B Open class, Bruce got a 5th, 6th, and 5th for a 6th overall again. Next weekend Snirt will be back in Copemish MI for round #2 of the ISOC Michigan Regional series.
1/10/11 – The Snirt Racing team was in Copemish, MI for round #1 of the ISOC Michigan regional SnoX racing on 1/8/11 and 1/9/11. The track was small and the groomer was broke down so the track was hard as cement. Day one started off bad with 3 separate ambulance rides for some unfortunate riders in the first two heats. After a long delay, track changes and some bulldozing, racing continued. # 283 Bruce Jesionowski had a rough go at it as well having a off on the last lap of each race on Saturday. A split lip, broken nose, and bruised hip didn’t stop him for finishing the weekend though.  #523 Noah Willbrandt had a better weekend finishing 4th overall on Saturday and 2nd overall on Sunday for his first time in the Transition 8-12 300 Freestyle class for the ISOC Michigan Regional Series. Next race for both is MSXRA round #1 in Gaylord MI.
11/29/2010 – Part of the Snirt Racing team was in Duluth MN this past weekend for the ISOC National Snocross season opener.
Bruce Jesionowski # 283 had his work cut out for him with 86 riders in the Sport Super Stock class. He got a 9th and 9th in his heat races on Friday, which didn’t qualify him for the LCQ or Main, and he got a 9th and 7th on Saturday, which again didn’t qualify him for the LCQ or Main. Not a bad effort for his first National Race. Bruce says he learned a lot and had a great time, and is ready to step it up for the next race. Hopefully you will see Bruce racing indoors at the Pontiac Silverdome Feb 12th, 2011 (yes I said indoors).
Noah Willbrandt #523 moved up to the Transition 8-12 (Freestyle 300) class this season. He got a 5th and 3rd in his heat races, which pushed him past the LCQ and right into the Main. Noah finished 10th place in his main. A pretty good start to the season for his first ever National Race. Noah has not stopped talking about his 3rd place finish in the 2nd heat race since the team rolled back into town. He is super excited for the next race.
Nicholas Horstman #318 moved up to the 120 Champ class for this season and put his new champ sled to the test. Nicholas finished 7th and 5th in his heat races, which sent him to the main where he finished 11th   for another first time National racer. We see a new belt drive system in the future for his champ sled ! Look for Nicholas at the indoor MI National in the Pontiac Silverdome on Feb 12th, 2011.

A very special thanks to Sponsors CMP Suspensions for the great set-up and all the track support, and to SSI photography for these great photos of the guys. Next stop for the Snirt SnoX team will be the ISOC MI Regional race at the Otsego Club and Resort in Gaylord MI on Dec 18th and 19th. Hope to see everyone there.
